LNG Business Analyst - Energy Trading - London - Investigo - #2084300

Investigo have partnered with a leading energy trading organisation who are seeking a Senior Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong LNG experience coupled with Planlogic EOS expertise to support a major LNG trading and logistics programme. You’ll work across front office, operations, and technology, delivering enhancements and integrations within a complex ETRM landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with traders, risk, and operations teams to gather requirements
2. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
3. Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle
4. Configure and enhance LNG trading instruments (cargoes, freight, storage)
5. Work with dev teams on OpenComponents / JVS solutions
6. Support upgrades, testing, and releases
7. Work across LNG logistics workflows (nominations, inventory, cargo lifecycle)
8. Exposure to APIs, messaging (Kafka/MQ), JSON/XML

Required Experience

1. Planlogic EOS experience
2. Proven Techno-Functional BA background in energy/commodities
3. Deep knowledge of LNG trading and trade lifecycle
4. Experience with front office stakeholders
5. Strong C# and SQL / data analysis
