Key Responsibilities:

Management Reporting

  2. Produce the CFO's Monthly Finance & Risk report and monthly summary P&L for the Management Committee.
  3. Manage daily reporting including Treasury P&L and deposit reporting.
  4. Report to the Asset and Liability Committee and UK Board as required.
  5. Deliver regular analysis of income, costs, balance sheet and KPIs, providing meaningful insight into performance drivers year-on-year and versus budget.

Forecasting & Budgeting

  1. Assist in preparing the quarterly forecast, identifying risks and opportunities against budget and recommending management actions where required.
  2. Contribute to the annual budget process across all business areas and input into Group systems in line with deadlines set by the international head office.

Business Partnering

  1. Act as a strategic finance business partner, working closely with all areas of the business to support the delivery of the firm's strategy.
  2. Provide timely, relevant and insightful management information to senior stakeholders across the business.
  3. Offer strategic and financial advice to support sound commercial decision-making.

Technology

  1. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology — including Power BI and Python — to drive reporting efficiencies and operational improvements.
  2. Collaborate with the Head of Technology to define data requirements in support of the firm's data strategy.
  3. Support the onboarding of strategic technology projects to develop the finance function.

Sustainability

  1. Integrate sustainability metrics into financial reporting.
  2. Assess climate-related risks and opportunities and model their potential impact on financial performance.
  3. Interpret and communicate climate-related financial information effectively through data analysis.

Requirements

  1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  2. Strong FP&A background, ideally within financial services.
  3. Proficiency in Power BI and/or Python is advantageous.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across the business.
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
