HR Systems Project Lead - #2085073

An organisation is seeking an experienced HR Systems Project Lead on an interim basis to support the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate sifting solution.
This role will lead the project from initiation through early delivery, ensuring a structured, efficient, and well-governed rollout.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong HR domain expertise, particularly across recruitment processes and systems
• Proven experience working with Workday (essential), including implementation and/or optimisation
• Experience working within public sector
• Demonstrable track record delivering HR systems implementations, specifically ATS or recruitment platforms
• Ability to rapidly assess current-state processes and define effective future-state solutions

Project & Delivery Capability

• Experience initiating and structuring projects from the ground up, including:
  • Project mobilisation
  • Planning and governance
  • Timeline development
• Strong stakeholder management experience across HR, IT, and third-party vendors
• Ability to drive delivery, manage risks, remove blockers, and ensure milestones are achieved

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of HR systems architecture, integrations, and data flows
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions
• Comfortable contributing to system configuration decisions and engaging with vendors

Personal Profile

• Proactive, hands-on, and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and influencing skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders
• Able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery
