Description

• Support rent accounting systems, ensuring all account changes are processed accurately and communicated to tenants
• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance by reconciling rent income, investigating discrepancies, and adhering to relevant regulations and procedures.
• Provide operational support by responding to finance queries, improving financial processes, and collaborating with teams to ensure effective information flow.

Profile

A successful Accountancy Officer should have:

• Strong experience in rent accountancy, housing finance, or income management
• Experience working with housing or financial systems (e.g. Northgate, Oracle Fusion, Cedar, ASH, eBuy)
• Knowledge of rent accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Experience handling DWP payments, Housing Benefit adjustments, and tenant accounts

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of £17.00 - £21.00 PAYE, depending on experience.
