The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering user-centred digital services, working within a multidisciplinary agile team to drive product strategy, prioritisation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy and roadmaps
• Prioritise backlogs based on user needs, business value and technical considerations
• Work closely with delivery, design, research and engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align priorities and manage expectations
• Use user research, data and insights to inform product decisions
• Ensure products are delivered in line with GDS standards and best practices
• Support continuous improvement and service optimisation activities

Essential Experience

• Proven experience working as a Product Manager within complex digital environments
• Recent experience delivering products and services aligned to GDS standards
• Strong public sector or government experience
• Demonstrable experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps and stakeholder relationships
• Experience working within agile multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles

Desirable Experience

• Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes
• Familiarity with service assessments and government delivery frameworks
• Experience working with multiple suppliers and stakeholders
