Working as part of a high-performing Insurance Broking Accounts team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate management of client money, insurer settlements, reconciliations and insurance accounting activities across the business.

This is a varied and rewarding position where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your workload, contribute to process improvements, support strategic projects and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

• Hybrid working arrangement

• 3 days per week in a Central London office

• Managing client money transactions and insurer settlements

• Performing insurer, client and bank reconciliations

• Handling credit control activities and aged debt management

• Supporting bordereaux production and submissions

• Assisting with Lloyd's and bureau-related accounting processes

• Investigating and resolving insurer, client and internal account queries

• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting activities

• Assisting with acquisitions, integrations and business change projects

• Supporting audits and regulatory compliance requirements

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies

• Building strong working relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders

We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:

• Previous Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) experience

• Experience working within an insurance broker, MGA, insurer or shared service finance environment

• Strong understanding of client money regulations and insurance accounting principles

• Experience undertaking insurer and client reconciliations

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment

• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

• Acturis experience is desirable but can be trained.

• Experience of bordereaux, bureau accounting or Lloyd's processes advantageous but not essential

• Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
