Senior Procurement Officer - Fully remote - #2085414

Robertson Bell is proud to be partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven charity to recruit a Procurement Specialist on a permanent, fully home-based basis.

The Role

This is a first-line procurement specialist position sitting at the heart of a lean team. You'll report directly to the Head of Procurement and work across a broad supplier base, engaging with around 100 internal contract and relationship managers.

Day-to-day you'll be:

• Managing procurement enquiries across multiple mailboxes, responding in line with policy and procedure
• Supporting supplier onboarding, due diligence, and relationship management
• Delivering training and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement systems and processes
• Challenging supplier proliferation and driving alignment across the supply base
• Using data tools — including Power Query, Power BI, and AI co-pilot — to generate insight and inform decision-making

You'll be expected to challenge, question, and add value including having commercial conversations with senior stakeholders.

The Person

You don't need to be fully qualified, but you do need a working knowledge of procurement and supply chain fundamentals. What matters most is:

• A genuine appetite to build a procurement career
• Comfort with data and have a curiosity about data and AI tools
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• The ability to listen, learn, and push back constructively
• Alignment with the values of a not-for-profit organisation
