The role
Our client is seeking to hire a VP / Principal-level Investor Relations professional to join their London office. This position sits firmly within the client servicing and project management function and is not a fundraising role.

The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-quality investor-related output, coordinating complex cross-functional processes and acting as a key point of contact for institutional clients globally. • Prepare for investor meetings, including development of materials, briefing notes and follow-up actions

Project management and execution

  • Lead execution of DDQs, RFIs, RFPs and ad-hoc investor requests, coordinating inputs from multiple internal stakeholders
  • Manage timelines and ensure all deliverables are produced to a consistently high standard
  • Maintain and enhance internal content libraries, data processes and approval workflows
  • Identify and implement process improvements across reporting and investor delivery workflows

Investor reporting and materials

  • Oversee quarterly and ad-hoc investor reporting cycles
  • Coordinate input from investment, finance, operations and legal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Support the ongoing development and refinement of investor materials

Internal stakeholder management

  • Partner closely with investment professionals and internal teams to align on messaging and deliverables
  • Act as a central coordination point for cross-functional projects impacting the investor base

Team leadership

  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior team members
  • Allocate workflow and ensure quality control across outputs
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Investor Relations function

Candidate profile

Experience

  • Experience within Investor Relations, Client Service or Product Specialist roles within alternative asset management
  • Direct experience within private credit is essential
  • Candidates must currently be working at a private credit manager
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deliverables in a deadline-driven environment

Technical knowledge

  • Strong understanding of private credit strategies, fund structures and investor reporting
  • Familiarity with institutional due diligence processes

Skillset

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical content for institutional investors
  • High attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and global clients

Additional context
