Our client is a mid-market UK bank and is looking to add a person to its equity sales team. They are open to levels of experience but some exposure to working in sales is essential.

Core Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with major institutional accounts
2. Disseminate equity research, market colour, and bespoke trade ideas to clients
3. Liaise with equity research analysts to organise corporate management meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
4. Work closely with traders, investment bankers, and syndicate teams to maximise capital
5. Oversee order progress, ensure smooth transaction execution, and provide ongoing portfolio/holding reviews.

Key Requirements & Skills

1. Deep understanding of global financial markets, equity valuation metrics, and sector-specific catalysts.
2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to distil complex fundamental/technical data into clear, actionable pitches.
3. A highly social, outgoing, and diplomatic personality with the ability to build long-term buy-side trust.
