Credit Risk Analyst – Precious Metals

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst with a strong focus on the precious metals sector to join a globally recognised organisation based in Greater London. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering hybrid working and a competitive salary of £60,000–£70,000.

The Role

As a Commodities Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing and managing credit risk for both existing and prospective clients within the commodities sector, with particular emphasis on precious metals leasing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct detailed credit analysis and assess the financial health of clients.
2. Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations.
3. Monitor market trends and developments within the commodities and precious metals markets.
4. Advise on appropriate credit limits and risk mitigation strategies.
5. Collaborate closely with finance, trading, and other internal teams to optimise credit strategies.
6. Engage with external stakeholders and maintain strong professional relationships.
7. Take a proactive approach to risk management in a fast-paced international environment.

What We’re Looking For

1. Proven experience in Credit Management and Credit Analysis.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Solid understanding of finance concepts within the commodities sector.
5. Experience in the commodities market, ideally with exposure to precious metals leasing.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
7. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software is advantageous.
8. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
