Retail Media Associate Director

London (hybrid - 3 office days a week)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

The Role

As an Associate Director, you'll lead the development and implementation of best-in-class connected commerce strategies-ensuring commerce is embedded across planning, activation and measurement.

You'll operate as both a strategic advisor and a commercial driver, working closely with senior stakeholders, partners and cross-functional teams to unlock growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the creation of innovative eCommerce and retail media strategies that drive measurable growth
• Embedding commerce thinking into end-to-end media planning and activation
• Identifying and scaling new technologies, platforms and test-and-learn opportunities
• Building and strengthening relationships with retail partners to unlock incremental value
• Acting as a senior client advisor-delivering strategic recommendations, insights and performance narratives
• Driving new business opportunities and contributing to the expansion of the eCommerce offering
• Collaborating with tech vendors and product teams to deliver cutting-edge commerce solutions
• Leading high-impact client presentations at senior level
• Mentoring and developing teams-creating a high-performance, collaborative culture
• Staying ahead of industry trends to continuously evolve commerce capability

About You

You're a commercially-minded leader with deep eCommerce expertise and a track record of driving growth through connected thinking.

We're looking for:

• Strong senior-level experience across eCommerce, retail media or digital commerce (agency, consultancy or client-side)
• Deep understanding of retail media platforms (e.g. Amazon, Criteo, Nectar, Tesco or similar ecosystems)
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into actionable commerce strategies
• Strong stakeholder management skills-comfortable influencing at senior level
• Experience identifying and driving new business opportunities
• A data-led mindset, with the ability to turn insight into clear recommendations
• Passion for innovation, including emerging tech and AI in commerce
• Experience leading, mentoring and scaling high-performing teams
