Reed Banking is delighted to be partnering with a well-established international bank to recruit a Mortgage Advisor into their prestigious Private Banking division in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mortgage professional to join a highly regarded institution, delivering bespoke lending solutions to a sophisticated client base of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, both UK and internationally based.

The Role

As a Mortgage Advisor within the Private Banking team, you will play a key role in providing tailored, regulated mortgage advice and structuring complex lending solutions. You will work closely with Private Bankers and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless and high-quality client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert mortgage advice across residential, buy-to-let, and complex lending scenarios
• Structure bespoke lending solutions tailored to HNW and internationally mobile clients
• Manage the full mortgage lifecycle from initial enquiry through to completion
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers within Private Banking to support client needs
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with credit teams, underwriters, solicitors, and third parties to progress cases efficiently
• Ensure full adherence to FCA regulations and internal compliance standards
• Identify opportunities to grow lending within the existing client portfolio

About You

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, ideally within Private Banking, Wealth, or HNW markets
• CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification – essential
• Strong technical knowledge of UK mortgage products and complex lending structures
• Experience working with high-value or complex client cases
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A professional, client-focused approach with a high level of discretion
