Role Description

This is a full-time role based in London. As the Marketing Assistant, you will support the marketing team execute campaigns across ticket sales and lead generation, helping to drive audience growth and engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to learn from an experienced team in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your ideas and enthusiasm can make a real impact.

What we're looking for:

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with attention to detail and deadlines
• Native on TikTok and Instagram and keen to create and post engaging content
• Proficiency in digital tools and marketing platforms such as Canva and MailChimp
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, though not essential!

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Support the Marketing Manager in planning, executing, and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that achieve event objectives and commercial targets.

• Maintain and update the event website, ensuring content remains accurate, relevant, and engaging.

• Manage social media channels, creating content, monitoring performance, and reporting on audience growth and engagement.

• Deliver exhibitor marketing commitments, ensuring all agreed promotional activities are executed effectively.

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement trade marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and support revenue growth.

• Create, deploy, and optimise email marketing campaigns, analysing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

• Assist in evaluating campaign effectiveness through data analysis, reporting, and post-campaign reviews.

• Provide timely and professional responses to visitor enquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Support the production and distribution of promotional materials for exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.

• Ensure all marketing administration is completed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines.

• Support a variety of ad hoc projects and initiatives as required by the business.

• Represent the company professionally at all times, acting as a positive ambassador for the brand.

• Attend and support onsite event delivery, including weekend work at approximately six events per year.

Location: Business Design Centre, London

Salary: £26-28k (dependant on experience)
