Our client is a Drug & Alcohol Recovery charity based in London. The post of Lead Nurse is to provide Clinical Supervision & operational line management to nurses within the Service.
Hours per week: 37.5 Monday to FridayContract Length - 3 Months plusPay Rate: up to £38/hr PAYE or £45/hr umbrella.
Primary duties include:To assure that integrated pathways are in place for service users who require treatment for their health needs related to their addiction.To ensure that the services clinical model is functioning effectively, and all clinical services are delivered in line with the companies' policy and national guidance.To ensure all programmes, i.e. immunisation programmes, are adequately staffedThe lead nurse will be involved in a clinical audit of the service under the direction of the Deputy Director of Nursing.Management and development of nursing staff.Work alongside the Lead Doctor and/or Non-Medical Prescriber to formulate, plan and implement individual treatment programmes to ensure safety and optimise outcomes for service users. This will include supporting nurses assisting with detoxification from substances across operational sites.
RequirementsNMC registrationPrevious experience as a lead nurse in a drug and alcohol service.
