cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Mortgage Advisor to work with them on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities of the Mortgage Advisor will include:

1. Provide bespoke mortgage advice to affluent and high-net-worth clients, particularly from the Middle East.
2. Build and manage relationships with clients, introducers, and industry professionals to generate new business.
3. Manage the end-to-end mortgage process, including onboarding, credit applications, and compliance checks.
4. Deliver excellent ongoing client service and relationship management.
5. Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal policies.
6. Work closely with private banking, credit risk, and operations teams to support efficient mortgage delivery.
7. Monitor market trends, mortgage products, and competitor activity.
8. Grow the mortgage portfolio through new business, cross-selling, and client engagement.
9. Manage the mortgage pipeline and achieve sales and service targets.

The successful candidate will have:

1. Experience providing regulated and non-regulated mortgage advice, ideally to high-net-worth clients.
2. Strong knowledge of residential and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgages.
3. CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification required; CAS status desirable.
4. Degree educated or equivalent experience in banking or financial services.
5. High attention to detail, risk awareness, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
