About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a growing construction consultancy, working on a prestigious, high-end client project.
This is a key, standalone role with full ownership of the accounts payable function. The initial assignment will be on a major 3-year project, with excellent long-term prospects. Following completion, you will have the opportunity to move onto other projects or progress into a more senior finance role within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process
• Receiving and processing supplier invoices
• Reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Checking invoices against cashflow forecasts
• Logging and maintaining invoice records within spreadsheets or finance systems
• Supporting purchase order processes and payment runs
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries
• Managing approximately 100 invoices per month with a high degree of accuracy
• Ensuring timely and efficient processing of all payments

About You

• Proven experience operating at Accounts Payable Manager level or similar senior capacity
• Comfortable working independently in a standalone role
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Efficient, proactive, and able to manage workloads with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
• Experience within construction or project-based environments is advantageous
