About the Role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join a Financial Services organisation’s central BI team. You will deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support key business areas including Development Finance, Wholesale, and Asset Finance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver BI reporting, dashboards, and analytics using Tableau / Power BI
2. Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and analyse data
3. Maintain and enhance reporting systems and automate reporting processes
4. Support business stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis and insights
5. Partner with teams to define reporting requirements and KPIs
6. Support change and transformation projects from a data perspective
7. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting output
8. Identify trends and opportunities to improve business performance

About You

1. Experience in BI, MI, or Data Analytics roles
2. Background in Financial Services or Banking (essential)
3. Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets
4. Advanced Tableau skills (Power BI desirable)
5. Strong Excel and analytical capability
6. Able to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
7. Agile / Jira experience
8. Knowledge of data warehousing (ETL, Data Vault)
9. Exposure to advanced analytics or AI reporting
