Description
Chief of Staff responsibilities:
- Support the executive team in setting and executing strategic goals within the banking & financial services department.
- Oversee key operational processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organisational objectives.#
- Assist with modernising the bank.
- Utilise some of the current groups technology to improve technology offering.
- Establish structure around transformation delivery.
- Identify efficiencies in the technology.
- Identify where technology can be utilised more effectively.
- improving offerings to the customer in terms of digital experience and product offerings
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Act as a key liaison between senior leadership and other departments to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Manage high-level administrative tasks and prioritise executive schedules effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.
Profile
A successful Chief of Staff should have:
- Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly within banking.
- Proven experience in supporting executive-level leadership.
- Experience shaping and delivering enterprise wide strategic change.
- Strong experience identifying and driving technology efficiencies and improvements.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to analyse data and present actionable insights clearly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- High levels of discretion and professionalism.
