To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has experience working in a similar role, from an Asset Management type company, with bias toward Fixed Income asset classes. It is of huge preference that your experience is gained within a Lloyd’s Syndicate or large insurance investment environment (this will be prioritised), however, you will have knowledge of Regulatory Reporting, Internal Reporting, Cash Flow Management and Forecasting and Compliance Monitoring. Exposure to various data, custody accounting and risk systems both from a BAU and process automation point of view (Aladdin and Bloomberg PORT is distinctly advantageous) and further professional studies like the CFA or IMC are deemed favourable. It is highly advantageous to have SQL/Python, Power BI and Excel skills.

You will support the Head of Investments in executing control and operational integrity supporting daily execution, regulatory compliance and portfolio monitoring. You will support both the Strategy and Operations leads with data-driven insights, accurate reporting and execution know how. The main element of the role is Regulatory Reporting which requires the production of regular reporting including investment holdings, investment look-through, derivatives positions, and realised and unrealised returns, to support regulatory requirements including Lloyd’s, Solvency II, ALM and stress testing reporting. You will also support day-to-day asset movements, while ensuring disciplined cash flow management and forecasting, and be responsible for ensuring portfolios and mandates remain within control ranges, risk and liquidity appetites, while enabling the independent monitoring and challenge of external investment managers to ensure full compliance.
