The Accounts Payable role involves managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices. This is an opportunity to join a business that's growing 10% year-on-year, in a crucial role within their finance team.

Description

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and timely payment.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
  • Assist in preparing month-end accounts payable reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable professional should have:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a global business is highly desirable.
  • Multi-currency invoice processing experience.
  • Working towards relevant accounting qualification; ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
