An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Claims professional to join a leading London Market insurer in a senior position handling complex legacy claims across a multi-class portfolio.

This role will involve the management of a broad range of legacy business including Reinsurance Casualty, Marine, Aviation, Property, Professional Liability, Motor, A&H, and other specialist classes. You will play a key role in driving claims strategy, managing complex losses, and working closely with brokers, clients, market practitioners, and counsel.

• Manage complex legacy claims across a multi-class portfolio
• Lead on Reinsurance Casualty claims handling and oversight
• Attend market meetings and liaise with brokers, clients, and legal counsel
• Monitor and report on key complex losses and claims developments
• Ensure proactive diary management and adherence to reserving philosophy
• Identify opportunities to progress and resolve dormant claims
• Provide detailed commentary for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Represent the business at broker and client meetings
• Contribute to a customer-focused and value-adding claims service

• Experienced London Market Claims professional with strong technical expertise
• Previous experience handling direct and reinsurance claims
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable representing the business externally with brokers and clients
• Adaptable across multiple classes of business
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience using ECF and strong Microsoft Office skills
