An opportunity for an experienced Finance Administrator to join a leading UK training and education provider on a 6-month temporary contract. Supporting accounts payable, invoicing, expenses, reconciliations, and general finance administration, this role would suit someone with strong Excel skills and previous finance experience who can make an immediate impact.

The Role
This is a hands-on finance administration position supporting the day-to-day activities of a busy finance team.
  • Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment runs
  • Assisting with sales invoicing and customer account administration
  • Managing employee expenses and reconciliations
  • Handling supplier and customer queries
  • Supporting month-end activities and finance projects
Main Duties
You will play a key role in ensuring financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct authorisation and coding
  • Maintain supplier accounts and resolve invoice or payment queries
  • Support the preparation and raising of customer invoices
  • Process employee expense claims and post transactions to the ledger
  • Assist with reconciliations, audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused finance professional who can quickly integrate into an established team.
  • Previous experience within a finance, accounts, or finance administration role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Experience using finance systems such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks would be advantageous, as would studying towards or holding an AAT qualification.
