Commercial Finance Director - The Role

I'm working with a leading Production Agency to appoint an experienced FP&A Director / Commercial Finance Director on a temp-to-perm basis.

This role will oversee forecasting, financial planning and commercial performance across the business, providing strategic insight to support growth and decision-making.

This is a highly analytical, internally-focused position, ideal for a commercially-minded finance leader who excels in business partnering and advanced financial modelling, making an immediate impact in a dynamic business.

Commercial Finance Director - Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO on commercial strategy
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Redesign and develop advanced financial models to support decision-making and profitability
• Implement performance reporting dashboards and provide insights to senior stakeholders
• Implement and enhance reporting dashboards to track performance and key business metrics
• Produce meaningful management information and analysis for senior stakeholders

Commercial Finance Director - About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Commercial Finance Director or senior commercial finance leadership role
• Experience within a similar industry (Production/Creative/Advertising/Marcomms/Media)
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are essential
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and commercial analysis experience
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
• Available to start immediately or at short notice
