An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reception & Office Manager to join a highly successful, international professional services firm based in the heart of Central London. This is a pivotal role for someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional workplace experience and thrives in a hands-on, people-focused environment. Acting as the face of the business, you will oversee front-of-house operations while ensuring the office runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Role
This is a varied position combining reception management, office operations, facilities coordination, employee engagement and health & safety responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Reception & Front of House
- Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients and guests
- Delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience
- Managing meeting room bookings, set-up and hospitality requirements
- Coordinating catering for meetings and events
- Overseeing post, couriers and deliveries
- Ensuring reception and communal areas are maintained to an exceptional standard
- Managing the day-to-day operations of a busy office environment
- Liaising with landlords, building management and contractors
- Coordinating office maintenance, repairs and workplace improvements
- Managing office supplies, stationery, kitchen provisions and equipment
- Supporting office moves, workspace planning and onboarding logistics
- Identifying opportunities to enhance workplace efficiency and employee experience
- Managing relationships with external suppliers and service providers
- Monitoring service levels and vendor performance
- Coordinating contract renewals and supplier reviews
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring value for money across services
- Planning and coordinating internal events and employee engagement initiatives
- Organising seasonal celebrations, team-building activities and company events
- Supporting company-wide meetings, presentations and town halls
- Helping to foster a positive and collaborative office culture
- Acting as the office Health & Safety lead
- Coordinating workplace risk assessments and compliance activities
- Managing fire safety procedures, drills and emergency protocols
- Maintaining workplace safety records and documentation
- Supporting wellbeing initiatives and workplace best practice
The successful candidate will be a confident, proactive and highly organised individual who enjoys being at the centre of a busy office environment.
You will have:
- Previous experience within Office Management, Facilities Management, Workplace Experience or a similar role
- Experience overseeing reception and front-of-house operations
- Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety and office compliance
- Experience coordinating events and employee engagement initiatives
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A hands-on, service-focused approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
