Description

• Leading the commercial appraisal of new business opportunities, including pricing, bids and tenders.
• Developing financial models and business cases to support client proposals and contract negotiations.
• Analysing client profitability, identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve margins.
• Business partnering with Sales, Operations and senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across the commercial function.
• Reviewing existing client contracts and performance to identify revenue growth and cost optimisation opportunities.
• Providing commercial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business performance.
• Driving continuous improvement across commercial processes, reporting and governance.
• Supporting a variety of commercial projects as the business continues to grow.

Profile

A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have:

• A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Ideally come from professional services or consulting firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
• A track record of working in the business services sector is advantageous.
