Description
- Manage and optimise end-to-end record-to-report (R2R) processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data and systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal policies.
- Monitor and manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and financial regulations applicable to the property sector.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller - UK Operations should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing record-to-report processes within a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (SAP) with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, particularly within the property industry.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
