Due to expansion within their London Real Estate team, a position for a Property Client Services Exec / Account Handler has arisen to handle Property Business.

Your new role

In your new role as a Property Client services executive / account handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial property clients, ensuring a high-quality and efficient service throughout the policy life cycle. This will include supporting clients with their insurance requirements, gathering relevant claims information ahead of renewals, and managing the full renewal and placement process, including any mid-term adjustments.
You will work closely with underwriters to negotiate terms and ensure that client needs are met effectively while maintaining accurate records on Acturis and adhering to regulatory requirements. Alongside this, you will play an active role in maintaining strong relationships with both clients and insurers, ensuring that service levels remain consistently high and that market developments are reflected in your approach to client servicing. You will also be monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed targets.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role, you must have knowledge within commercial property insurance as an Account Handler or in a similar role, ideally within a wholesale or London Market environment. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, enabling you to build trusted relationships and secure favourable outcomes for clients. You will be highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver exceptional levels of client service at all times. A good awareness of FCA regulations and a proactive approach to maintaining industry knowledge through continuous development will also be key to your success.
