We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to join our client at a prestigious site in Farringdon, Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management operations, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery within a fast-paced corporate environment.
This is a fully site-based role, requiring attendance in the office five days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily delivery of all hard and soft facilities management services across the site.
- Lead, motivate and support on-site facilities teams to ensure exceptional service standards.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers.
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to agreed service levels.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits to maintain high operational standards.
- Manage facilities budgets, monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Produce reports, maintain accurate records and analyse performance data.
- Respond promptly and effectively to operational issues, implementing solutions where required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the workplace experience.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Facilities Manager position within a commercial or corporate environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and multiple service lines.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (essential).
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Competitive salary of £42,000 - £47,000, depending on experience.
