About People’s Partnership:
At the heart of our not-for-profit organisation is a commitment and a motivation to make the future-saving experience a simple one for our members. We champion fairness and simplicity, not profit-chasing. Imagine a financial adventure where everyone's a winner, fuelled by our exceptional service and brought to life by the fantastic individuals who work for us. We're a diverse employer with a flexible, hybrid working approach, ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to come to work and be the best version of themselves.
What you'll be doing:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our London office as a Receptionist Administrator, where you’ll deliver a warm, professional front-of-house experience while supporting the day-to-day running of the workplace. Acting as a true ambassador for People’s Partnership, you’ll ensure every visitor, colleague, and contractor is welcomed in a friendly, inclusive manner and has a positive experience onsite.
Working as part of a job share, you’ll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly—coordinating services, supporting colleagues, and acting as a central point of contact across teams. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines strong customer service with practical administrative and facilities support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
- Act as the first point of contact, delivering a warm, professional welcome to visitors, contractors and colleagues
- Provide a high-quality front of house experience, ensuring reception and shared spaces are well presented and compliant
- Support the smooth running of the office, acting as a central point for workplace queries and day-to-day coordination
- Set up and manage meeting rooms, including large boardroom layouts and catering/refreshments
- Oversee stock levels for office and reception supplies, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment
- Liaise with facilities, contractors and cleaning teams, carrying out checks to maintain a safe, efficient and well-run workplace
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a reception, front-of-house, office support or workplace role within a professional environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to act as a professional and welcoming ambassador for People’s Partnership.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day operational tasks, including supporting meeting rooms, shared spaces and general office needs.
- Comfortable handling security-sensitive processes such as access passes, keys and visitor management, with strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Proactive and practical approach, with the ability to spot issues, take ownership and escalate appropriately.
- Good organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload in a busy office environment.
- Confident using standard office systems and technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, desk booking or access control systems).
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a job-share arrangement.
What you can expect from us:
- Generous pension contributions with an employer contribution of up to 14%
- Real living wage
- Income protection, critical illness cover & death in service insurance
