Accounts Payable Assistant

Global Marketing Agency | London Bridge | Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH) | 30k - 33k

We're working on a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading global marketing agency based in London Bridge. This is a brilliant role for someone looking to develop their finance career within a fast-paced, creative, and international environment.

You will become an integral part of a close-knit UK finance team of 7, playing a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger. You will also take ownership of your own supplier portfolio and be a key point of contact within the business.

Responsibilities

• Post all supplier invoices to our accounting system
• Reconciling accounts to supplier statements on a monthly basis
• Chase and resolve all queries
• Produce regular BACS run
• Maintain and post bank transactions
• Weekly Bank Reconciliations in multiple currencies
• Maintain and update nominal ledger
• Maintain supplier records
• Maintenance of the shared accounts inbox
• Build relationships with client teams & Shared financial services
• Adhoc financial administration duties

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a similar accounts payables or finance assistant role in a fast-paced environment
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience with MediaOcean suite (MX, DS Media & DS Accounting) is highly desirable, but not essential
• Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
