  • Location: Central London (on-site)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 2 pm till 11 pm
  • Salary: £14.80 a hour
  • Start Date: ASAP


The Print Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role involves setting up print jobs, ensuring quality standards are met, troubleshooting equipment issues, and meeting production deadlines in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate digital, offset, large-format, or commercial printing machines.
  • Set up printing equipment according to job specifications.
  • Monitor print quality and make adjustments as required.
  • Load paper, inks, toners, and other materials into machines.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues.
  • Review work orders and production schedules.
  • Ensure all printed materials meet quality and customer standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Follow health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with production, design, and finishing teams to meet deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a printing or production environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of printing processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification or training in printing technology or graphic communications.
  • Experience with digital printing software and workflow systems.
  • Knowledge of colour management and print quality standards.
Working Conditions
  • Manufacturing or production facility environment.
  • May require shift work, overtime, or weekend work.
  • Exposure to noise, inks, and printing machinery.
