Senior Business Analyst - Logistics & Supply Chain Transformation

Location: UK (Hybrid - Extensive UK Travel Initially)
Contract: 6 Months+
Start: ASAP

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme for a leading UK organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the decommissioning of a legacy mainframe application that supports critical logistics operations.

You'll work as part of the discovery and proof-of-concept phase, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand current processes, identify dependencies, and help shape the future-state solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery workshops with business and operational stakeholders.

  • Map current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes and capabilities.

  • Identify system dependencies, risks and impacts relating to legacy system decommissioning.

  • Work closely with Solution Architects and technical teams to define the target operating model.

  • Engage with operational teams across multiple UK depot locations.

  • Produce high-quality business analysis documentation and requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation programmes.

  • Strong background within Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing or Distribution.

  • Experience working in retail or another large operational environment.

  • Previous involvement in legacy system replacement, modernisation or decommissioning projects.

  • Excellent process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable working with both business and technical teams.

Working Pattern
  • Travel to multiple UK depot locations (approximately 2-3 days per week during the initial phase).

  • Predominantly remote after the first three months.

If you have a strong background in logistics transformation and enjoy working on complex business change initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.
