Educo Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London seeking a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges and additional learning needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, youth workers, sports coaches, mentors or experienced support staff looking to build a rewarding career within education.

• Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support children with SEMH, Autism (ASC), ADHD and behavioural needs.
• Implement behaviour strategies to encourage positive engagement.
• Help pupils regulate emotions and develop social skills.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting challenging behaviour or SEMH is desirable.
• Calm, resilient and patient approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
• Psychology graduates, youth workers, sports coaches and mentors are encouraged to apply.

• £105–£125 per day, depending on experience.
• Long-term opportunities with potential for permanent employment.
• Ongoing support from a dedicated Education Consultant.

• Excellent experience for careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Youth Work and Pastoral Care.
