Legal Counsel - Private Credit - #2101630

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel to join a highly regarded in-house legal team supporting a growing Private Credit platform. You will act as a trusted adviser across a broad range of lending and financing transactions, working closely with Origination, Credit, Portfolio Management and senior stakeholders.

Description

• Provide legal support on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of lending and financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and related transaction documentation.
• Support portfolio management activities including amendments, waivers, restructurings, and refinancings.
• Advise on legal and commercial risks.
• Manage post-completion matters and contribute to the development of legal precedents.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4+ years' PQE.
• Strong experience advising on lending and financing transactions.
• Experience gained within private practice and/or an in-house financial services environment.
• Excellent understanding of facility agreements, security documentation and intercreditor arrangements

Desirable:

• Experience within private debt, alternative lending or investment management.
• Exposure to restructurings, refinancings, and distressed situations.

Job Offer

• Base salary up to £110,000 depending on candidate experience
