An established organisation is looking for an experienced E-Billing Analyst to support a busy finance function. This role would suit someone with a background in billing, finance operations or e-billing who enjoys working with systems, data accuracy and stakeholder queries in a professional services environment.
The position will focus on maintaining billing rate information, supporting electronic billing processes and helping resolve billing-related issues. The successful candidate will work with a range of internal teams and external contacts to ensure billing information is accurate, up to date and processed efficiently.
The RoleAs E-Billing Analyst, you will support the administration and accuracy of electronic billing information across finance systems and billing platforms. You will help maintain rate data, investigate billing issues and contribute to smoother, more consistent billing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with internal teams and external contacts to confirm billing and rate information.
- Support the set-up and maintenance of billing rates, client arrangements and related system data.
- Review and resolve billing or upload queries, escalating more complex issues where needed.
- Keep accurate records of rate changes, billing requirements and process notes.
- Use finance and billing systems to check, update and monitor relevant information.
- Identify ways to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency across billing processes.
- Support wider finance projects, system updates and process improvement activity where required.
- Maintain a high level of service when dealing with colleagues, clients and external providers.
- Previous experience in e-billing, billing, revenue, finance operations or a similar role.
- Comfortable working with finance systems, billing platforms and large volumes of data.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking information.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities.
- Confident problem solver who can investigate issues and suggest practical solutions.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently when needed.
- Clear communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Professional, collaborative and service-focused approach.
