Senior Project Manager - Business Change - Insurance - #2110390

An established insurance organisation is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a strategic business transformation programme centred around the delivery of a new Enterprise Data Platform. * Initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

This is a business change role rather than an IT delivery position. The programme is currently in its pilot phase, providing the opportunity to help shape its direction and support the transition into broader implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of business change initiatives across a strategic enterprise data programme.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive engagement and successful change adoption.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective programme delivery.
• Produce and maintain project plans, governance reporting and steering committee updates.
• Support the progression of the programme from pilot through to wider rollout.

Requirements

• Demonstrable success delivering complex business change programmes.
• Insurance sector background is essential.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation or data-related initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Excellent project governance, planning and risk management capabilities.
• Comfortable working within complex, regulated environments.
