Finance Systems Manager - #2110978

We are supporting a highly sought after and established independent firm of accountants in London that are now looking for a new finance systems manager to play an active part in the ongoing development of their systems and service offering.

As the lead systems professional for the firm, this individual will have the opportunity to shape and influence the firms long term software strategy.

Whilst providing ongoing support and training to the firms colleagues on various packages, this person will also have the chance to identify and implement improved ways of working, managing change and ensuring a smooth integration throughout projects.

This position will best suit an accountant or finance professional with previous experience in an accounting environment that has since gained a deep understanding of finance systems training, transformations, integrations and change management.

Key Responsibilities of this Finance Systems Manager role are;

• Support colleagues with finance software queries, providing technical assistance as required.
• Provide ongoing training and development support to colleagues at all levels.
• Lead the software strategy for the firm, identifying and evaluating opportunities for process improvement and better ways of working.
• Design and carry out process improvement projects, involving the implementation and rollout of new practice applications and systems.
• Deliver ongoing support throughout system change and identify areas for optimisation.

You

• A previous accountancy background with prior experience of using a wide variety of accounting software packages.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels as well as partners and suppliers.
• Experience leading software implementation and transformation projects.
• Experience managing change, leading the uptake of new systems and ways of working.
