Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their London office and work closely with the Regional Director, helping to shape and grow an already successful team.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor who wants more than just project delivery. You'll play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to the strategic growth of the London building consultancy team.You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects and professional instruction for a range of high-profile clients, including education providers, healthcare organisations and Tier 1 housebuilders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of professional building surveying services
• Lead and manage complex surveying commissions across multiple sectors
• Undertake cladding remediation projects from inception through to completion
• Provide Party Wall services and professional consultancy advice
• Prepare specifications, schedules of works and contract administration services
• Conduct defect diagnosis, condition surveys and technical due diligence
• Support business development activities and maintain key client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team
• Work closely with the Regional Director to support the growth of the London business

About You

• MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
• Proven experience within a consultancy environment
• Strong background in project-led building surveying work
• Experience delivering cladding remediation and/or external wall projects
• Party Wall experience highly desirable
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
• Ambitious and motivated by long-term career progression
