FP&A Analyst - #2111033

Harper May is working with a private equity backed wealth management group that has grown quickly through both acquisition and organic expansion, and is now building out the finance team that will support its next phase of scale. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious analyst to step into a high-visibility FP&A role, working closely with senior finance leadership and getting real exposure to how a fast-growing, acquisitive business plans and performs.

It is a role with genuine progression. The group is scaling, the finance function is growing with it, and there is clear room to develop as the business does. You will be close to the decisions that matter and will see the direct impact of your analysis.

The Role

• Support the annual budgeting and reforecasting process across the group
• Build and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making
• Produce monthly management reporting, with clear variance analysis and commentary
• Track performance against budget and flag risks and opportunities early
• Partner with business units to understand the numbers behind the results
• Support board and investor reporting packs
• Help analyse acquisitions and integration performance
• Improve FP&A processes, tools and reporting as the group scales

What do we want

• Part-qualified, finalist or recently qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Educated to degree level
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Some FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance experience
• Comfortable working with large data sets and turning them into clear insight
• A confident communicator who works well with stakeholders across the business
