Looking to specialise in one of the most technical and rewarding areas of tax?
A leading UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Share Schemes Assistant Tax Manager to join its growing Human Capital Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside recognised experts, advising entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies and international organisations on a wide range of employee share incentive arrangements.
You'll play a key role in delivering both advisory and compliance work across tax-advantaged and non-tax-advantaged share schemes, while building long-term client relationships and developing your own technical expertise.
What you'll be doing- Advising clients on the implementation of EMI, CSOP and other employee share schemes
- Supporting transactions, due diligence exercises and share valuations
- Managing annual share scheme reporting and HMRC submissions
- Providing ongoing advice on Employment Related Securities legislation
- Building relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for additional advisory work
- Mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
- Working closely with tax specialists across a collaborative national team
You'll ideally be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with experience covering:
- UK employee share schemes (tax-favoured and non-tax-favoured)
- Employment Related Securities legislation
- HMRC share scheme registrations and annual returns
- Client management and delivering high-quality advisory work
- Supporting and developing junior colleagues
