Fletcher George is delighted to be working with a well-established multi-partner firm in South West London, renowned for providing expert tax and business advisory services to entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies and high-net-worth individuals.

Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join its successful UK Private Client team. This opportunity is ideal for an ATT or ACA qualified professional, or someone nearing qualification, who is keen to develop their technical expertise while working towards CTA with full study support.

Working alongside experienced Managers, Directors and Partners, you'll gain exposure to a varied client portfolio, interesting advisory work and clear opportunities to progress within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of UK private clients, with responsibilities including:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts.
• Assisting with Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning.
• Supporting high-net-worth individuals with property portfolios, rental income taxation and related compliance.
• Advising directors of owner-managed businesses on personal tax matters, including Making Tax Digital requirements where relevant.
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Supporting Managers and Partners on advisory projects.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients.
• Building strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Assisting with the development of junior team members where appropriate.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• ATT or ACA qualification (or be nearing qualification), with the ambition to study towards CTA.
• Experience in UK Private Client Tax gained within an accountancy practice.
• A genuine interest in personal taxation.
• Exposure to property taxation and investment portfolios (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Making Tax Digital and personal tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach and the desire to build a long-term career in Private Client Tax.
