DevOps & Platform Engineer - German Speaking - Remote Work - 6 Month Rolling Contract - #2111272

The successful candidate will have ownership of my clients platform infrastructure and help take the AI platform from pre-launch to a reliable, enterprise-ready SaaS product.

Your work enables the engineering team to deliver AI features quickly while keeping the platform secure, scalable, and easy to operate.

Project Responsibilities

Own and evolve our cloud platform

Manage infrastructure with Terraform

Maintain development, staging, and production environments

Build and improve CI/CD pipelines

Deploy backend, frontend, and AI services

Operate infrastructure for AI agents and RAG workflows

Manage PostgreSQL, Redis, object storage, and networking

Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting

Strengthen security, IAM, secrets, and backups

Troubleshoot production issues

Define operational standards and runbooks

Must-haves

5+ years as a DevOps, Platform, SRE, or Cloud Engineer

Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience

Experience operating production cloud platforms (Scaleway is a plus)

Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience

Strong PostgreSQL administration experience

Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)

Experience operating managed cloud services

Experience supporting AI agent or RAG infrastructure is a plus

Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, TLS, and secrets management

Pragmatic mindset with a strong sense of ownership

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-have

MongoDB and OpenSearch

Vector databases (Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus, Pinecone, pgvector)

OIDC or identity infrastructure

Infisical, PostHog, Oh Dear, or similar tooling

AI / LLM platform experience

GDPR-conscious cloud environments

Enterprise security and compliance experience
