Content Compliance Screener (OFCOM/ACMA) - TV/Film - #2111275

Calling all Broadcast Compliance Screeners with exposure to OFCOM regulations in the UK and (ideally!) ACMA regs in Australia.

Fully remote, flexible (20 hours per week) role screening content for a reality TV focused platform operating in the UK and Australian markets. The ideal candidate will be familiar with OFCOM reg's - ACMA qualifications are actually free to complete online so upskilling will be fairly easy to achieve. You will be supporting a small and friendly Compliance team remotely and this role offers a lot of flexibility in terms of working hours/days. Duties will include:

• Working independently, screening various allocated programmes accurately assessing programmes and films.
• Applying correct age ratings and consumer advice labels, escalating for referral any programmes with issues requiring edits, or content that is likely to prompt viewer complaints.
• Return by email detailed compliance forms with notes for each piece of content screened
• Providing clear and detailed reasoning for referrals and suggest a recommended solution.
• Checking workflow list on a regular basis and responding to all emails within 24 hours

Qualifications and experience

• Either: (i) a Qualified Accredited Classifier (Australia) or; (ii) experienced in programme compliance in the UK (complying to Ofcom standards and BBFC age guidelines) and in the process of training to become a Qualified Accredited Classifier (Australia).
• Minimum 3 years of screening experience with a broadcaster or streaming platform.
• Solid understanding of programme classification requirements in Australia and the UK
• Clear communication
• Comfortable using email, word and excel.
