Principal C# / .NET Engineer - Development Lead

Initial 6 month contract
Start date - ASAP
London - Hybrid

What you'll be doing:

Leading solution design and hands-on development in C# / .NET
Working across MongoDB, SQL Server, and enterprise messaging (Kafka / ActiveMQ)
Supporting migration to OpenShift/Kubernetes-based container platforms
Mentoring developers and setting engineering direction
Applying modern engineering practices SOLID, microservices, contract-first API design

What we're looking for:

Expert C# / .NET, with strong .NET Core / modern .NET experience
Proven track record as a senior developer, tech lead, or principal engineer
Strong document database (MongoDB) and relational database/SQL skills
Experience with container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes preferred)
Comfortable operating in a regulated, delivery-focused environment
Financial services background is essential
