Date: 3 weeks ago
City: London
Contract type: Full time
Work schedule: Full day
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the infrastructure and energy value chain, taking ownership of key workstreams from launch through to completion.
- Manage due diligence processes, transaction documentation and stakeholder coordination, ensuring efficient execution and delivery.
- Build, review and present complex financial models, valuation analyses and client materials.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, management teams, sponsors and advisers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Support origination and business development initiatives across infrastructure, energy, renewables and energy transition sectors.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers, providing guidance across both live transactions and marketing activities.
- Work on cross-border transactions across EMEA, MENA and APAC, including exposure to emerging markets.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of Investment Banking experience with a focus on Infrastructure, Energy, Renewables or the broader Energy Transition sector.
- Currently operating at VP level with the ability to independently lead transaction workstreams and manage deal execution.
- Strong M&A execution experience with a demonstrable track record of closed transactions.
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
- Experience managing junior team members and operating in a client-facing environment.
- Exposure to, or a genuine interest in, Emerging Markets across EMEA, MENA and APAC.
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and comfortable taking ownership in a lean, high-performing team.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Join a leading Infrastructure & Energy advisory platform with a strong reputation across EMEA, MENA and APAC.
- Work in a lean team environment where VPs are given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure and significant influence on transactions.
- Lead complex, cross-border M&A mandates for infrastructure funds, strategic investors, developers and corporates.
- Gain differentiated exposure to Emerging Markets transactions, a skillset increasingly sought after across the advisory landscape.
- Play an active role across both origination and execution rather than being confined to a purely execution-focused position.
- Benefit from strong deal flow, high levels of responsibility and a clear path towards senior leadership within the platform.
