I'm working with a leading financial services organisation that is looking to hire an experiencedAI Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, developing production-grade solutions that leverage the latest advancements in large language models, agentic AI and intelligent automation.

You'll be involved in:

1. Designing and building AI-powered applications using modern LLMs
2. Developing agentic workflows and multi-step AI pipelines
3. Building RAG solutions and integrating enterprise data sources
4. Working closely with engineers and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions that solve real-world problems
5. Contributing to the evolution of AI engineering best practices within a collaborative development team

We're looking for experience with:

1. Strong Python development
2. LLMs (OpenAI, Claude or similar)
3. LangChain, LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks
4. Agentic AI and autonomous workflows
5. RAG architectures and vector databases
6. Azure AI services (or equivalent cloud AI platforms)
7. Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience would be beneficial

Previous experience delivering enterprise AI solutions within financial services would be advantageous, although candidates from other complex engineering environments are also encouraged to apply.
