Senior Project Manager - 6 month contract - #2113224

Location: London (Hybrid, 2-3 days in-office)
Day rate: £600 - £700 pd Umbrella

A leading media organisation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a significant people change programme. This initial six-month contract offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, including the COO and Editing Chief, to deliver meaningful transformation. You'll drive hands-on delivery of new processes, policies, training materials, and technology solutions while fostering collaboration and engagement across diverse stakeholders.

• Oversee daily operations across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Build trust with senior leaders, unions, and employees through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate consultation processes to gather feedback and incorporate it into programme design.
• Deliver policy changes, process improvements, training development, and technology rollouts.
• Support the Programme Director as a trusted advisor and operational lead.
• Champion change management practices through clear communication and training initiatives.

• Proven experience managing large-scale people change programmes within media or similar environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including union consultation and employee relations.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and adaptability under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on approach with expertise in change management and consultation processes.
• Familiarity with editorial workflows or freelance engagement models is a plus.
