Relationship Manager - VP (fluent Japanese) - #2113271

A Japanese bank based in London is currently recruiting a Japanese-speaking Relationship Manager(VP).

In this role you will be responsible for the relationship management, customer credit, document process and controls, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This role is to be a Relationship Manager facing off to important clients, so candidates will need excellent client relationship management skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• To develop and enhance business relationship with Japanese Corporate customers and Asian Corporate / FI customers
• Explore business opportunities, structure transaction team, organise and control important milestones for the goals, and generate maximized profit from transactions
• Monitor periodically customer’s financial conditions and evaluate if the rating is appropriate
• Review the business plan with customers and manage appropriate credit exposure with customers
• Precisely control legal and any business-related documents with customers.
• Understand customers’ needs, provide the best solutions and maximize the customer satisfaction.
• Develop banking relationship with people in the specific industries or financial institutions
• Appropriate control of credit monitoring, credit application and any other credit related process

Ideal Candidate:

• +3 years good Sales and Marketing experience in the financial industry
• Good analysis skills B/S, PL, Cash Flow, Credit Rating, Credit applications
• Good knowledge of Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Trade Finance, Treasury
• Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese
• Excellent PC (Word, Excel, and Power point) skills
• Degree qualification and/or Banking, ACT or similar professional qualification (including part completed)
• Excellent communication skills
• Compliance and information control
• Sufficient Knowledge of MiFID II and Financial Crime
• Sufficient communication skills and interpersonal skills (empathy, influence, assertion/ persuasion etc.)
• Knowledge of financial products, excellent knowledge of M&A, DCM, Acquisition finance, Trust would be advantageous

Condition:

• TYPE: permanent, Full-time
• WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
• SALARY: £70-100k (depending on experience)
• START: negotiable
• LOCATION: London (Hybrid working available, 3 days in the office)
