Finance Systems Manager - #2113321

We are supporting a large, established organisation within the regulated gaming sector in the recruitment of a Finance Systems Manager to lead the delivery of complex finance systems change. This opportunity suits an experienced Finance Systems professional who combines strong accounting knowledge with e-commerce, digital payments and high-volume transactional systems.

Acting as a key link between Finance, Technology, Product, Operations and external suppliers, you will help shape the gaming systems roadmap and provide delivery assurance across multiple platforms supporting digital player journeys, payments, settlements, claims and financial reporting.

This is a senior, Finance-led change role responsible for ensuring that gaming systems enhancements, integrations and new capabilities are delivered with robust financial controls, accounting integrity and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of finance systems enhancements and the end-to-end gaming systems roadmap across a complex, high-volume environment.
• Oversee Finance involvement in digital gaming platforms, player payments, settlement models, exception handling and new payment integrations.
• Manage the full change lifecycle, from demand intake and impact assessment through to prioritisation, testing, deployment and transition into business as usual.
• Translate Finance requirements into technical specifications, user stories and delivery plans, ensuring accounting, reconciliation, control and reporting requirements are embedded into solution design.
• Lead UAT activity, including test planning, script creation, execution, defect management and sign-off.
• Maintain oversight of risks, dependencies and control impacts while partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Product and Operations.
• Manage relationships with external technology providers, banks and payment partners, while supporting audit requirements, business intelligence reporting and the assessment of new system capabilities.

About you

• Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent senior-level Finance Systems experience.
• Significant experience delivering Finance-led technology change within a complex, regulated or high-volume transactional environment.
• Strong understanding of payment execution, settlements, reconciliations, claims processing and end-to-end financial data flows.
• Proven experience working across multi-platform systems environments and third-party technology providers.
• Experience within gaming id beneficial and experience payments, financial services or another highly transactional sector is essential.
• Comfortable operating within Agile and structured SDLC delivery environments.
• Able to influence senior stakeholders and provide leadership without relying on formal line-management authority.
