Principal Operational Technology Consultant (Cyber)
Salary: Up to £110,000 (Based on London)
Location: Multiple UK based locations available (Hybrid)
We are supporting a leading global digital consultancy in recruiting a Principal Operational Technology Cyber Consultant to join their market-leading cyber practice. As the organisation continues to expand its Digital and Data capability, they are seeking experienced consultants to lead the delivery of complex OT cyber programmes and provide trusted strategic advice to clients across defence and security, energy and utilities, financial services, government, and the wider public sector.
This is a globally recognised consultancy that combines innovative thinking with deep technical expertise to solve some of the most complex cybersecurity challenges facing critical national infrastructure. As a Principal Consultant, you'll play a key role in shaping client strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving the continued growth of the OT cyber capability.
We're looking for experienced OT cyber professionals with exceptional technical expertise who can confidently engage with senior client stakeholders while maintaining a deep understanding of SCADA, PLCs, and wider OT environments. You'll lead complex technical engagements, influence cyber strategy, mentor consultants, and help organisations strengthen the resilience of their critical infrastructure. Candidates must have experience of:
• Salary up to £90,000.00 (Based on London)
• 25 days annual leave (plus half day on Christmas Eve) - Opportunity to buy 5 additional days

- 8-10 years' experience within Operational Technology, Industrial Cyber Security or a related consulting environment
- Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and OT environments
- Process control systems
- SCADA
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- PLCs and RTUs
- Industrial cybersecurity and secure data communications
- Electricity transmission
- Distribution network control
- Leading complex client engagements and delivering strategic OT cyber programmes
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring teams, and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Contributing to business development, capability growth, and client relationship management
